Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the OML platform and omllabs.com website operated by OML Labs ("we", "us", or "our").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our services — including the OML platform, omllabs.com, and any associated APIs — you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

OML (Open Multi-vendor Lab) is a self-hosted network laboratory platform that allows users to create, configure, and manage virtual network topologies using QEMU, Dynamips, IOL, and Docker nodes. We provide the software, license management, and community features; you provide and operate the host hardware.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and all activity under your account.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use our services.
One person may not maintain more than one free account.

4. License Keys & Subscriptions

License keys are issued per OML host machine. A license activated on one machine cannot be used on a different machine unless explicitly reactivated through the support process.
Subscription fees are billed monthly. Prices are listed in USD. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
Refunds are issued at our discretion within 7 days of purchase if the software fails to function as described. Contact hello@omllabs.com.
Academy and Enterprise licenses are subject to a separate order form or sales agreement.
You may not share, resell, sublicense, or transfer your license key to any third party without our written consent.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our services to:

Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the OML platform beyond what is permitted under its open-source license (if applicable).
Attempt to circumvent license enforcement, hardware binding, or authentication mechanisms.
Launch denial-of-service attacks, port scans, or other intrusive activity against our infrastructure or third parties.
Upload or distribute malware, exploits, or illegal content through the community lab-sharing feature.
Impersonate OML Labs or any other person or entity.

6. Community Content

When you share a lab to the OML community feed, you grant OML Labs a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display and distribute that lab topology to other OML users. You retain ownership of your lab configurations. You are solely responsible for ensuring that any vendor images or configurations you share comply with their respective licenses.

7. Intellectual Property

The OML platform software, website design, logos, and documentation are the intellectual property of OML Labs. You may not reproduce or distribute them without our prior written consent. Third-party vendor images (Cisco IOS, Palo Alto PAN-OS, etc.) are subject to their respective vendors' license agreements — OML Labs does not distribute or endorse any such images.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OML LABS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account and license if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the software ceases. You may cancel your subscription at any time; your license remains active until the end of the current billing period.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, by email. Continued use of the services after changes constitutes acceptance.
