Service Desk, Trouble Ticket, Automation Practice, Exam Simulator, MCP

Service Desk — a ServiceNow/Jira-style ITSM ticket queue generated straight from your topology: Configuration Requests, Incidents, and gated Change Requests, verified for real over console, SSH, or WinRM.
Trouble Ticket mode — one click injects a real CLI-level fault into a running device (shut interface, wrong IP, silent ACL, missing route, pruned VLAN) and hands you only the symptom to troubleshoot.
Automation Practice — generates a real Ansible inventory (INI/YAML) or Netmiko device dict from your lab's actual running devices.
Exam Simulator — build certification-style practice exams from your own PDF/Word/RTF documents and take them timed or in untimed practice mode.
MCP support — a hosted remote MCP server so Claude Desktop / Claude Code can operate your OML appliance directly via scoped API tokens.
Reliability pass: fixed a class of resource leaks where deleting a lab or node could silently orphan its network bridges, backing process, disk image, and snapshots; ISP/virtual-internet nodes no longer get incorrectly marked "stopped" on backend restart.

MCP support, redesigned navigation & login

Hosted remote MCP (Model Context Protocol) server, scoped API tokens, and an audit log so AI assistants can drive OML directly.
Redesigned top navigation — animated hover mega-menu — and a new login screen with an interactive WebGL connections globe.
API docs hardening: Swagger/ReDoc/OpenAPI reverse-proxied and locked behind HTTP Basic auth; internal routers hidden from the public schema.

Signed OTA updates & appliance hardening

Existing appliances can now self-update in place via signed OTA bundles, without re-importing a new OVA.
Daily automated backups, a watchdog that restarts a hung backend, a deep /health check, a secret-redacted support-bundle exporter, and BYO-TLS certificate support.
ESXi-style shell-less console (DCUI) on first boot, EULA + vendor-image disclaimer gate, GRUB recovery lockdown.

Dual-serial console isolation

Every QEMU node now boots with two serial ports — one exclusively for the user's console, one for backend automation (metrics, scoring, bulk commands) — so heavy background polling never floods or fights with what a student is typing.

ISP / Internet virtual node

A new "ISP / Internet" device that emulates a real ISP inside OML — DHCP leases, routing, an internet-cloud map view — without touching the host's real WAN.
Console broker reliability rework fixing several features (Bulk CMD, Ping Test, Protocols, Bandwidth Heatmap, IP Address Map) that previously failed under concurrent console access.

QEMU Version Manager & performance tuning

QEMU version manager, telnet-proxy console access, a performance tuning layer (KSM/THP/io_uring), Docker container console support, and an OVF guest-type fix.
