Wait, what's the catch?

Five running nodes is the only limit. If you want more nodes, multi-user lab collaboration, or premium support, you upgrade to Pro ($15/mo). Most CCNA labs and home-lab scenarios fit in 5 nodes. We make money from the people who outgrow it — most never do.

Will my account expire?

No expiry. The free tier is permanent. We won't email you "your trial is ending" because there's no trial.

Do I need to provide a credit card?

No. You'll never see a credit card prompt unless you actively click upgrade.

Where does it run?

On your hardware. The OVA imports into ESXi, Workstation, Fusion, VirtualBox, Proxmox, or any KVM-based hypervisor. Runs offline once installed — fully air-gappable. We don't host your labs in the cloud.

What hardware do I need for 5 nodes?

8 GB RAM, 4 vCPU, 50 GB disk is the comfortable minimum. A $400 mini-PC or any laptop with VT-x/AMD-V handles it. CCIE-grade labs (15+ nodes) need more — that's why Pro exists.

Cisco IOS images — included?

No. Cisco licensing prohibits redistribution. Same situation as EVE-NG. If you have a Cisco DevNet account or a CML license, you can use those images. Open-source vendors (VyOS, Linux, FRR, etc.) are bundled.
